There are thousands of Cambodian children working on the streets day and night; bare-foot, dressed in rags, hungry, alone and afraid. They carry a sack over their shoulder, rummaging through rubbish piles, searching for cans and bottles that they can sell, just hoping to make enough money to buy a single bowl of food. By far the worst part is that these children are targeted by abusers, paedophiles and human slavery brokers. The children are in great danger of being raped, kidnapped and sold into the sex industry.
The danger is very real: we MUST prevent child-set trafficking.
We must rescue these children from the streets BEFORE they can be taken. This is what the Princess Project is all about: PREVENTING child-sex trafficking.
Our Motto
is ‘To Reach Out and Rescue; To Teach and Transform.’ Rescuing the children from the streets is only the first step. We then go on to spend years working with each child, providing an education, health care, vocational skills and equipping them with everything they will need to succeed in life.
We do not give the poor a HAND-OUT. Rather we give them a HAND-UP. The Princess Project educates, equips and empowers individuals to break free from poverty and the dangers of sex- trafficking, enabling them to achieve their incredible potential in life.
